Key Responsibility areas:
*Perform in-depth industry and economic analyses for both internal management and external market comparable purposes.
*Prepare or review financial models for various valuation analyses, such as determining an enterprise value or conducting an impairment analysis.
*Monitor and support assigned subsidiaries at the financial, operational, and governance levels. Periodic visits to business locations and attendance at Board of Director meetings as an observer are required.
*Review and advise new investment proposals: This work entails review of the business’ initial presentation and the business model used to support the proposal, and coordination of comments and questions.
*Lead or support the post acquisition integration (PAI) task to ensure functional integration is completed. This involves planning and execution of integration plans with coordinated team work from due diligence phase through the project completion (100 days PA)
*Support quarterly forecast/budget review of subsidiaries and Divisions. Duties include ensuring reporting requirements are met, and providing perspective on risks, opportunities, business initiatives and performance issues.
Qualifications:
-Strong analytical and written communication skills
-Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Capital IQ or HFM experience is preferred
-5 years experience, Audit, M&A field and/or a holding company background is preferred
-Undergraduate degree in business, accounting, or finance required
